You Can Debate a Dog or a Marxist – The Result Is the Same

You Can Debate a Dog or a Marxist – The Result Is the Same

I told myself I would stop debating deranged Marxists and liberals with fact-based information. I find that they react very poorly to facts, and all they do is begin to attack you personally. A dog will snarl and perhaps chase and bite you. A Marxist will attempt to belittle you personally and make character attacks—anything so they don’t have to debate the facts. Of course, they may chase and bite you too.

A Book? What a Novel Idea!

I considered sending a copy of my latest book, Erasing America: Broken Politics Broken Country, to all my anti-Trump liberal friends and relatives, but then I thought better of it because I came to the conclusion that they actually don’t read.

Political Doublespeak with a Dash of Horseshit

I’ve come to an unfortunate truth—that liberal Democrats have become wonderfully adept at what George Orwell referred to as doublespeak, which refers to language that deliberately obscures, disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words. For example, an illegal alien is now an undocumented immigrant or someone with a complex immigration situation. Now that’s doublespeak with a dash of horseshit.

Misgendering in Oregon Is a Hate Crime

Woe unto you if you tell a strapping six-foot guy with a beard and bulging biceps (and other things) to haul his sequin-gown-covered ass out of the ladies room at the local bar. You might be looking at years of probation and community service hours. Just ask Cassandra McIntyre who was found guilty under this asinine law.

Kiss a Marxist? I’ll Pass, Thank You

Someone told me I should kiss one ignorant Marxist a day, and that will make me feel better about our country. I think that person is full of crap and voted for Biden.

What Part of the Word ILLEGAL Is Confusing?

In case there is any confusion, the hordes of illegals pouring across our border have no interest in the ideals and values of America and becoming a true American. They are interested in handouts, what will be given to them, and what they can take that is not rightfully theirs. They are here ILLEGALLY and should be lawfully removed.

Elizabeth Warren vs. James Madison

If you have any doubt that today’s far-left congressional members of the House and Senate are anti –constitutionalists, remember back in March 2019 when Senator Elizabeth Warren was a Democratic presidential candidate. She actually declared war on the Electoral College in favor of the principle of one person, one vote that the framers of the Constitution actually made sure did not happen because that would lead to mob rule, which is why we have the Electoral College.

Warren’s Democratic colleagues were very quick to say, Oh, Elizabeth Warren, you are wonderful with your enlightened viewpoint. If you doubt this, read The Federalist Papers #10 as I did, which was written by James Madison and published on November 23, 1787.

The paper points out how and why the constitutional framework was created so the dangers the founders were worried about (very powerful political parties) was checked—with the Electoral College—that Elizabeth Warren and other Democrats want to undo. This is a direct affront to what the framers of the Constitution had in mind.

By the way, idiot Congresswoman AOC believes the Electoral College is white racism. I think she should go back to bartending. I hear she actually did that well.

Yogi Berra wisdom worthy of AOC

Tom Seaver: “What time is it?” Yogi Berra: “You mean now?”

What a Combination – Inept, Senile, and Incompetent

The Biden Administration, led by our fearless President, has all the hallmarks of extreme incompetence and chaos. In my opinion, Biden is an inept, senile dictator. He is a political parasite who should be put out to pasture. There is much chatter that the Democratic National Convention will actually replace him on the Presidential ticket with Vice President Kamala Harris or California Governor Gavin Newsom. Yes, things can go from bad to worse.

The Problem – One of Many in California

Ask anyone who lives in California how they like California, and they will either tell you they love it or they hate it. There’s a new bunch of people who really hate California. They are working at fast food restaurants with more than 60 locations nationwide. They’re the people whose jobs are at risk, and many of them have just been fired after Governor Newsom mandated that the minimum salary for these fast food workers go from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour beginning April 1, 2024.

Now if he’s done this with fast food workers, who will be next? People who work at local gyms and fitness studios? Car wash people? People who sweep up—janitors—after the kids in our schools?

What the governor is doing is making an unequal distinction and giving to some at the expense of the others.

If I were an owner of a restaurant where I now have to pay $20.00 per hour for what I paid

$16.00 per hour for last week I’d either raise prices on everything on the menu, replace people with iPads, or outright fire people. Or maybe I’d close my shop because I’ll be damned if I’m gonna earn less money and take the same risk of owning the business due to misguided government policies.

Videos of Gen Z and Their “Struggle to Survive” Make the Rounds of the Web

TikTok idiots reveal how hard life is and bitch about high rent while making videos with $1,200 iPhones. Well, here’s an idea. Since you are undoubtedly working from home in your yoga pants and flip flops while sporting hairbands and no makeup, why not move to a less expensive area of the country? One-bedroom apartments are not $1,800 everywhere. Some places . . . gasp! . . . are under $1,000. But what do you do when the checking account is on fumes after spending $500 on Taylor Swift tickets and $450 for a new outfit? I guess it time to beg mom for more money. Or maybe you could actually clean yourself up, get a haircut, shave, lose the hoodies, and get some interviews with a respectable employer.

Tell Me It Ain’t So

You don’t have to search too hard to find articles that tell you that two-thirds of colleges surveyed mandate DEI courses to satisfy education requirements to graduate. Forget for a moment that this is outlawed in many states, especially for colleges and universities that receive public funds (taxpayer supported). If I discovered that when my kids were in college, I would have yanked them out so fast that their heads would spin. Where are the elected officials who need to monitor compliance with laws and take action to put offenders in jail?

Afterthought

This November, American voters will be presented with the opportunity to tell Biden & Company to go pound sand, write books for multi-million-dollar advances, and fade away from the American political consciousness. Call it a grand opportunity to say good riddance to an astonishingly incompetent administration that’s hell-bent on destroying America.

November cannot come soon enough! VOTE!

Sounds Right to Me

Sounds Right to Me

Dan Bongino once said, “Biden will be remembered as the single worst human being to ever occupy the presidency.” I agree.

If You Have Been Hiding under a Rock

Mainstream corporate media habitually places progressive social Democrats in a positive light while projecting a severely biased point of view of the shortcomings of conservatives. I find this highly disturbing. Americans turn to media for facts, not the opinions of biased journalists.

It’s slowly dawning on the American left as well as traditional middle-of-the-road Democrats that they’ve made a huge miscalculation in who they voted for in state, local, and national elections last time around. Our country is now overrun by 10 million or more illegal aliens who were given the red carpet at our southern border by the Biden Administration and later by sanctuary cities.

Take New York City, for example. Mayor Eric Adams, instead of commandeering Trailways and Greyhound buses to return these illegals to Mexico, rolled out the red carpet, put them in $300- per-night hotel rooms with towel service, hot meals, and fresh linens. He handed them debit cards, and cell phones. What do you expect will happen? They’re going to want to stay, and the longer they stay, the more scarce resources will become as they are used to give illegal aliens the quality of life they want.

Did You Happen to Hear . . .?

Our esteemed V.P. Harris has proclaimed that Democracy Will End if Trump is elected to office. Gee, I thought the administrative state was already ending democracy. In case no one told them, executive departments such as the Department of Education, the Federal Trade Commission, and more DO NOT have the authority to make laws. Only Congress has that power, and they are prohibited from extending it to Biden’s department lackeys. It’s that darn Constitution getting in the way again, Joe. Sorry.

Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett suggests that black Americans should be exempt from paying taxes as a form of reparations. Hey, Jasmine! There are openings in the parking meter maintenance department in downtown Austin. Why not apply? Brains not needed.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS)) is supposedly monitoring over 600,000 migrants who entered America with criminal records. Now, I get it that I’m not the brightest bulb in the box and that DHS Secretary Mayorkas will not be impeached by the Democrat-controlled Senate, although he deserves to rot in jail for 50 years—but why the hell did we permit these folks to enter in the first place? You have a criminal record! NO, YOU CAN’T COME IN!

Problem solved. Next?

We’re told that Bidenomics has NOTHING to do with the 117% jump in commercial real estate foreclosures year over year in the United States (as reported by ATTOM database). California tops the list with the most foreclosures of 187 properties, and that number is up an astounding 405% from the previous year. Yeah, Gavin Newsom! Keep up the good work, Governor.
Yes, the DHS can still lawfully deport a person if they violate the terms of their visa—say by illegal riots and chanting “Death to America!” Remember, their visa states that they will obey our laws and behave. That applies to all those demonstrating illegally against Israel on college campuses. But it seems that the DHS often makes a prudential revocation—in English that means they won’t always immediately remove a person from the country. Hey, guys! Enough of the prudential crap. How about getting their asses on a plane out of America in 90 minutes or less, guaranteed? Learn a lesson from Domino’s. Fix the problem immediately. Remove them now!

What I Consider to Be Great Wisdom

Americans under 40 years old should pay their own mortgages, student loans, cell phone bills, health insurance, and car insurance premiums. The reason? Because they are adults.

Biden’s Plan to Ration Electricity

It’s a given that the EPA is fixing to ban all coal plants in the country and outlaw construction of all new natural gas everything. Funny, I don’t remember in my last reading of the Constitution

where the EPA has the power to make law—must have dozed off and missed it. Anyway, Biden aims to place the entire energy industry in Chapter 11 bankruptcy while continuing to order giant windmills from the Chinese communists. Folks, you can’t make this shit up. Biden is taking lessons from California Governor Gavin (hair gel) Newsom on the most effective methods of rationing electricity. You can look forward to 100 watt Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
That’s enough to power a 40 watt light bulb, a portable fan, and charging your phone for six minutes. Welcome to America 2.0—home of the insane climate socialists.

America’s Well-Being

Were you to stop a hundred people on the street and ask them any of the following questions, I suspect the answers would not be gratifying. People are worried, and with good reason. The daily headlines are horrific. Ask your friends or neighbors some of these questions, and listen carefully to their answers. Here are the questions in no particular order:

• How’s America doing?
• Are you proud of today’s America?
• Are you better off today than four years ago?
• Are you happy with the path America is on?
• How’s your personal economy under Bidenomics?
• Do you feel safe in your community?
• Has the doubling of mortgage rates affected your plans to buy a new home?
• How do you feel about the continued unrest at college campuses across the nation?
• Do you feel we are being over-regulated?
• Do you have faith in your government?

Visions of Walter Cronkite and Marcus Welby

When I was a kid, my parents watched Walter Cronkite on the news. He was considered the most trusted man in America. We watched the news for 30 minutes, and it was done until the next day when we listened to Mr. Cronkite again. We learned what was going on in America and the world. Cronkite didn’t spin it; he just reported the facts and helped average Americans understand the importance of what he was reporting. Were he to see what mass media journalism has become, he would spin in his grave like a turbine at Pacific Gas & Electric. Today’s anchors and newspeople spew biased reports aimed at furthering their network’s political views. The New York Times has this old slogan: All the news that’s fit to print. Well, that’s a joke. The paper would do us all a favor if it closed its doors.

I seldom comment on healthcare, but I feel compelled to include it in today’s update. Gone are the days when Dr. Marcus Welby of TV fame rang the doorbell and was welcomed into someone’s home, carrying his familiar, well-worn black leather medical bag. He diagnosed ailments with a bedside manner that should be taught in medical school, instilling calm and confidence in all. Contrast that with today’s healthcare insanity, and you will yearn for the simplicity of yesteryear. Granted, MRIs, CT scans, and the like were all unavailable. Yes, there

are trade-offs, but we can be doing a hell of a lot better if the government just got out of the healthcare business.

Bernie Sanders Strikes Again

Bernie Sanders Strikes Again

Bernie is back on his soapbox, YELLING for a 32-hour workweek. He boasts that other kids get to work less (Norway, France, etc.), and we should not have to work such long hours. Forty hours of work each week leaves no time for family, friends, and recreation. HOGWASH, Senator! All you are doing is hurting small businesses, the backbone of the American economy. Let’s look at the math.

  • Hypothetical worker makes widgets for the boss
  • Worker earns $30 per hour for a 40-hour
  • That’s $1,200 per week for 52 weeks (2 weeks paid vacation) = $62,400 annual

Under Senator Sanders’ genius plan:

  • Worker still earns $62,400 per year, but the boss has 8 hours per week of lost production
  • That’s 400 hours of lost production per year, less widgets being manufactured and on the market

Guess what, Senator! The boss ain’t eating it. He raises the prices on widgets, and everyone pays more money because the boss ain’t booking the loss. He is passing it on to the consumer.

Senator, do you know what that’s called? INFLATION.

Way to Go, Biden Administration!

It’s interesting that The Washington Examiner posted a headline on March 14, 2024, called “Biden’s Team ‘Regrets’ Making Inflation Worse Now That They’re Facing Reelection.”

Wow! We REGRET we lied to you, misled you, covered up the facts, misinformed you, led you astray, covered up the truth, fibbed, told a tall tale, and generally made you believe something with absolutely no facts.

A Further Word on Congressional Term Limits

What do you think the chances are that thousands of 16-year-old boys would urge their parents to ban beer sales in their county? What do you think the chances are that Congresspeople would vote to curtail their own power? Hint: AOC is now making six figures, more than she ever made as a bartender in Boston.

’Nuff said . . .

It Seems the Definition of Extraordinary Has Changed

Those of you who know me or have read my book Erasing America: Broken Politics, Broken Country know that I have an exceedingly low opinion of U.S. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY). As I write this, he recently stated that Biden’s accomplishments were “extraordinary triumphs” in the last four years.

To be clear (and balanced) in my reporting, I actually looked up the word extraordinary. I wanted to see the synonyms for this very powerful adjective. Here is what I found: astounding, astonishing, remarkable, exceptional, amazing.

So here is my question. Can you describe anything Joe Biden has done during his presidency that would warrant you (truthfully) characterizing it as astounding, astonishing, remarkable, exceptional, or amazing?

I rest my case. I firmly believe—and yes, it is my personal opinion— that Representative Jeffries is a delusional, progressive liberal in need of an immediate career change.

I Don’t Have a Mute Button

During my recent conversation with a flaming liberal Democrat, he suggested that I may want to mute my thoughts since much of what I have to say may be interpreted as unpopular and not in keeping with today’s enlightened viewpoints. Well, for those who know me and have followed my videos, books, articles, and viewpoints, you won’t be surprised by my answer: Don’t let the First Amendment hit you in the ass on your way to Venezuela.”

Life is too short to have arguments with mindless progressives who view our founding documents as mere suggestions to be followed or changed on a whim. I wait with baited breath for November 5, 2024, when intelligent Americans (if there are any left) kick the progressives out of national and state governments, restoring sanity to American politics.

If you remember to do one thing this year, VOTE on November 5th, and send the liberals back into the caves they came from.

Not Only Will I Buy You New Luggage, I Will Help You Pack

To all the famous Hollywood types that are blathering about leaving the country if Donald Trump is reelected President of the United States, conservatives who LOVE America are thrilled at the prospect of your leaving.

We have had enough of Biden crime, Biden border madness, Biden inflation, Biden energy insecurity, Biden spinelessness on the world stage, Biden scraping the bottom of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, Biden killing the oil and gas industry, and Biden’s electrification of cars, stoves, washing machines, dryers, lawn mowers, and more.

Enough is enough.

Not only will we buy your luggage and help you pack, but we will drive you to the airport and offer to burn your passports as you board the plane.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve

Now that I have your attention, remember that the President announced that the Administration intends to repurchase crude oil for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve when prices are at or below

$67 to $72 per barrel. Remember that he released 180 million barrels of our strategic emergency reserve for political purposes.

Well, Joe, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is now trading at $81.07 per barrel. How is that refilling going for you? Is our country safer with overflowing reserves?

This is yet another boondoggle of this presidency.

Atlas Shrugged, Didn’t He?

My beloved Ayn Rand would be spinning like a turbine in her grave if she overheard a conversation I had with a distant relative. I made the mind-numbing mistake of recommending that she read my favorite book, Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand. That I believed reading Rand’s writings would influence, even mildly, this liberal progressive delusional soul was my first mistake. The second mistake was engaging this relative in a protracted conversation.

My errors in judgment stemmed from the thought that I had expectations. You see, I forgot the conservative’s prime directive—you are only disappointed in others when you have expectations that they will actually use their brain to think. My bad.

In the end, my relative had no clue who John Galt was, why he was important to the story, or why Ayn Rand would write such a long book in the first place. When I stopped banging my head repeatedly against the wall long enough to knock back some Tylenol, I reflected on why I seldom engaged this relative in conversation and promised myself not to make the same error in the future.

I’d Rather Not, Thank You

My sisters are at it again. This time they’re proposing that I do a podcast. After much consideration (not really), I decided I would rather be the only one in North America who does not have a podcast. Any group that would have me as a member is automatically suspect. I’d rather be the hungry tiger with no stripes lurking in the forest.

I’m content grinding out my thoughts one at a time as I have been doing for decades without the aid of ChatGPT (whatever that stands for). Ditto for podcasts and AI (artificial idiocy).

Nothing against the entire podcast enabler industry that has sprung up to assist wordsmiths such as me, but I can do without their (supposed) expertise for the low, low price of $5,995.

My book: Parent’s Guide to Your Child’s Retirement: 21 Thought-Provoking Conversations to Have with Your Adult Children” takes a long overdue conversation out of the shadows and shines a high-powered spotlight on a much-needed subject… our working- age children’s preparations for their own retirement. The idea for the book came to me as I realized the sheer numbers of people I have spoken with that are concerned about their adult kids preparation for retirement. As I sketched out my notes, it occurred to me this was a big issue that was not getting enough “airtime”. Running through my mind were the following situations that I was aware of:

  • I knew parents that were funding their adult children’s ROTH IRA accounts
  • I knew parents that were reimbursing kids so they could max out a 401(k)
  • I know parents that were paying off their kid’s education loans
  • I know parents that have become landlords to their grown kids for years
  • I know parents that have “helped” the kids purchase cars, home and more
  • I knew parents that were worried if their kids were saving for retirement

We parents often have a wealth of experience to share with our children regarding our own missteps and blunders in planning for our own life after work. More often than not, we lack a blueprint to effectively engage in these needed conversations without them turning into lectures, accusations or shouting matches. This book will provide you, the parents with an easy to follow structure that may serve to enable you and your children to have positive, engaging and thoughtful conversations regarding their financial futures.

Here’s the deal: Purchase a copy (or multiple copies for friends and colleagues) and I will send you The Equal Opportunity Critic’s Socialist Quiz AND How to shut down your crazed liberal relatives at holiday dinners.

Call Out the National Guard . . . to Ride the NYC Subways

Call Out the National Guard . . . to Ride the NYC Subways

Yep, not a ruse. The Governor of New York, the inept and delusional Kathy Hochul, has called out National Guard troops to help with the soaring crime problem on the subways under New York City. She is deploying 750 members of the National Guard and 250 state troopers and police officers from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Hochul stated, “The plan is to rid our subways of people who commit crimes and protect all New Yorkers whether you’re a commuter or transit worker.” The systemic incompetence of policymakers at both the state and city levels is stunning with soaring crime, illegals holed up in luxury hotels, and cuts to city services that taxpayers rely on. And still, voters keep putting these yahoos back in office!

Amazing!

Signed by the Who’s Who of Congressional Asshats

A recent letter (March 6, 2024) from some Democratic members of Congress to the chair of the Federal Trade Commission laid out their (flawed) reasoning to stop energy company mergers in their tracks. The letter seems to read like a rehash of every possible reason that mergers should be blocked. Without any facts to back up their assertions—and, mind you, assertions are all they are—here is their laundry list of reasons to stop mergers in the energy sector:

  •  Threaten competition in the industry
  • Could lead to higher prices for consumers
  • Fewer choices for businesses
  • Hurts the climate (my favorite)
  • Designed to pump more profits out of American pockets

They steadfastly refuse to acknowledge that oil companies such as Chevron, Occidental Petroleum, Devon Energy, and Exxon Mobil do not set world oil prices. Prices are set by extremely complex markets. In addition, the esteemed (my ass) members of Congress indicate that the deals are not about efficiency, cost savings, competitiveness, or lowering costs but are meant to gouge the American consumer.

I could go on and on with this drivel, but let me share with you some of the signatories of this letter:

    Bernie Sanders

    Jerry Nadler

    Elizabeth Warren

    AOC (squad member)

    Rashida Tlaib (squad member)

    Pramila Jayapal (squad member)

    Ilhan Omar (squad member)

    Chuck Schumer

    Maxine Waters

    John Fetterman

    Jamie Raskin

    Eleanor Holmes Norton

The Royal Order of the Jackass Society may now go back to their regularly scheduled duties.

    It’s the Border, Stupid!

Few will dispute—well, except every liberal Democrat—that our southern border is an unmitigated disaster. Yet Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer refuses to let HR2 (the Secure the Border Act) come to the Senate floor, calling the Senate version of the House bill “a total non-starter.”

Let’s enlighten ourselves about what the bill contains. Here are the major aspects of HR2 (taken from Senator Ted Cruz’s press release published on September 14, 2023).

The Secure the Border Act enacts effective border security solutions, including:

    • Requiring the Department of Homeland Security to resume border wall construction
    • Increasing the number of border patrol agents
    • Tightening asylum standards by restricting asylum to only aliens who present at ports of entry and by requiring aliens to prove they are “more likely than not” to qualify for their asylum claim
    • Narrowing DHS’s power to unilaterally grant parole to illegal aliens
    • Criminalizing visa overstays by making the first offense a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $1,000 fine and the second offense a felony punishable by up to a $2,000 fine and up to two years imprisonment
    • Stopping NGOs from using tax dollars to transport or lodge illegal aliens and provide illegal aliens with lawyers
    • Restricting DHS from using its CBP One app to welcome illegal aliens into the country
    • Requiring employers to use E-Verify
    • Ensuring CBP has access to the criminal history databases of all countries of origin and transit so CBP is aware of the criminal histories of illegal aliens encountered at the southern border
    • Narrowing the Executive Branch’s parole powers

Tell me which aspects of the bill you find offensive. Is it completing the southern border wall? Is it hiring more Customs and Border Protection personnel? Is it tightening asylum standards? Why do Democrats steadfastly refuse to fix the southern border? My hope is that House and Senate Republicans will continue to hammer out this issue and make it clear that we will not secure anyone else’s border until we secure our own. In fact, here is what House Majority Leader Mike Johnson told the White House:

Supplemental Ukraine funding is dependent upon enactment of transformative change to our nation’s border security laws. We stand ready and willing to work with the Administration on a robust border security package that protects the interests of the American people. It is well past time for the Administration to meaningfully engage with us.

California Throws MORE $$ to Illegals

Leave it to asshat California Assemblyman Joaquin Arambula for introducing Assembly Bill 1840 that would offer qualified first-time homebuyers a loan of up to 20% of the purchase price for a condo or a home, AND the loans accrue NO INTEREST and require no monthly payments.

Oh, and most important, these loans would be available to undocumented immigrants, who Joe Biden calls “newcomers.” They are not. They are illegal aliens.

Arambula’s justification is that “the social and economic benefits of homeownership should be available to everyone.” Well, sir, why don’t you just transfer the title to your home to the next illegal you see?

    Short Gems

Deep-Six the Beer and the Chips

We all remember the shitstorm over Budweiser and its foray into transgender advertising. Sales of the beer plummeted as its long-term customers made it known that they vehemently disagreed with Budweiser’s message, and billions of dollars of shareholder value evaporated in short order as investors stampeded for the exits.

So under the heading of not learning a damn thing, Doritos Spain made the news that it is partnering with a transgender activist, hiring a brand ambassador (whatever that is) who tweeted inappropriately about a 12-year-old. They will learn the hard way that this is not an endearing value among buyers of their chips. The company higher-ups who approved the “brand ambassador” should be summarily fired and their stock options cancelled. NEXT!

I Would Welcome a Complete Ban on TikTok in the Unites States . . . Just Sayin’

We have more than enough online platforms to watch water skiing monkeys and transgender soapbox activists without letting the Chinese Communist Party have access to user information.

May I Burn Your Passport on the Way Out?

Squad member and all-around anti-American Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) announced that she will leave the United States if Donald Trump is elected. May I pack your bags, Madame Congresswoman? And don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out. That you were ever elected to Congress by the asshats in Michigan’s 12th Congressional district is a stain on American politics.

Russia Says It Will Not Interfere in US Presidential Election

This was actually a Newsmax headline on March 6, 2024. Well, thanks, Mr. Putin. We greatly appreciate that you publicly stated you won’t interfere in our internal affairs. Hope you don’t mind, but I am a great believer in the whole trust-but-verify school of foreign policy. It’s not that we don’t trust you, but well, we don’t. So we will be watching your actions, not just your words.

     Way to Go, Florida

Abiding by a new law, the University of Florida has fired all DEI employees. Score one for the good guys and gals. Trouble is that these folks will need to find new careers where they may actually have to learn a skill. Perhaps they can check out some trade schools that teach underwater welding, nuclear reactor electrical engineering, or uranium reprocessing.

Thanks for the Money – But We Still Make the Rules

So a billionaire ponied up $70 million for an advanced super computer at a Florida university, only to have Governor Ron DeSantis prohibit Chinese AI experts and researchers from participating in the research. The billionaire cried foul since researchers from China and Iran were excluded from the project. He was so focused on attracting talent that he totally disregarded the danger. I call it common sense. YES, billionaires can be stupid too!

     TV for Brain-Dead Liberals

There’s’ a show where five liberal morons mock and make fun of rational conservatives. I don’t know the name of the show, and frankly, I’m not interested. But it makes me wonder if the show’s hosts grew up mocking and making fun of other kids. After all, mocking doesn’t come naturally. I’m sure they spent many hours belittling others in order to qualify to be part of the show.

    Borderless America

    Borderless America

We have all seen the figures paraded in House and Senate hearings, newspapers, online media, and newer news sources such as Facebook, and X (Twitter). But however you choose to learn about what’s going on in America, one salient fact cannot be overlooked. America’s borders have evaporated. I’ve seen figures of 6, 8, 10, and even 11 million illegals crossing over into the United States.

My guess is that no one knows what the REAL figure is.

Biden continues to blame the chaos on Trump. Democrats blame Republicans. Liberals blame conservatives. Texas cities such as Del Rio and Eagle Pass are hardly habitable—overrun by illegals. And no, they are not persons with complex immigration issues as liberal Democrats would have us believe. They are persons who committed a felony by entering our country illegally.

President Trump shared the following during a recent trip to Eagle Pass in February 2024:

Half of all ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) arrests were criminal aliens charged with more than:

    • 33,000 assaults
    • 3,000 robberies
    • 6,900 burglaries
    • 7,500 weapons crimes
    • 4,300 sex crimes
    • 1,600 kidnappings
    • 1,700 homicides

Meanwhile, delusional Congresswoman AOC is on record stating that she wants ICE abolished. Might she change her mind if any of those thousands of robberies, assaults, or sex crimes were committed against her family and friends?

The recent horrific murder of a Georgia college student by a Venezuelan criminal illegal highlights the fact that the government has forsaken its primary duty—to protect America and its borders.

The inconvenient truth that many Democrats refuse to acknowledge is that ordinary Americans are seeing their lives shattered, their businesses ruined, their homes robbed, and their children assaulted, raped, and murdered.

And just so there is no misunderstanding, the Biden Administration refuses to deport illegal criminals, complete the border wall, or hire more border agents.

Meanwhile, New York Governor Kathy Hochul is ready to provide the state’s 170,000 illegals with government jobs, stating, “That’s the answer to the whole situation. Put them to work.” Her administration has eased requirements, including proficiency in English, a high school education, and a civil service exam. I have a different take. No, Governor, I disagree. The answer is to place them on buses headed for our southern border and take them to Mexico where they crossed illegally.

Both New York and California are providing illegals with monthly prepaid credits cards with up to $1,000 on them.

       Disingenuous Words

I used to like Nikki Haley when she was the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. She worked with President Trump to push for American interests and peace around the world. Today, I am very disappointed that Ms. Haley is spewing trash such as this:

Headline: Haley Unsure Trump Committed to Constitution

We can ALL say we are unsure of many things that sound downright despicable and then paint ourselves as a concerned person just voicing our fears. How about this:

      • If Haley becomes President, I sure hope she doesn’t round up and jail liberal college
      • I worry that Nikki Haley is so determined to win the election that she will collude with the mafia.
      • I sure hope Haley abides by the
      • I hear Haley is thinking about repealing our right to free

See how easy it is to paint nasty ideas with the cloak of concern? The media eats this stuff up. Just look at the headlines from CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, The Washington Post and The New York Times. Better have a vomit bag in reach. As my friend Lee tells me, simply observe the headlines and stories, but don’t internalize them as the truth.

      A Quiet Thought

I long for the day when a phone was a phone. Now it’s a movie studio, radio, tape recorder, camera, compass, little black book, dictation machine, Internet on ramp, email, alarm clock, notepad, calculator, pedometer, and more.

      Equal Justice under WHAT Law?

Chicago has decided that it needs MORE taxpayer money. This time, it is to help fund homeless services. Evidently, there will be a referendum to see if voters support an increase in the transfer tax on property sales—specifically a significant increase in the transfer tax rate for homes valued at over $1 million.

Chicago’s current tax rate is 0.75% on all property sales. The proposal increases that amount to 2% for properties over $1 million and 3% on properties over $1.5 million. For properties under

$1 million, the transfer tax actually drops to 0.6%. Undoubtedly, this proposal will be headlined as a lowering of real estate taxes for the average, hard-working Chicagoan. What they fail to mention is that transfer taxes will increase 2.6 to 4 times on more expensive homes. While property owners have partial influence over the prices of their homes, they cannot control the rate of inflation of pricing in specific neighborhoods.

If I were a Chicago homeowner who is thinking of selling my $2 million home next year, I would be pretty pissed off right now. And I don’t care to hear the siren song; we’re only asking the rich to pay their fair share.

Hey MSNBC! Fire This Piece of White Trash

Ron White was famous for saying that he had the right to remain silent but not the ability. I now know how this fella must have felt. There is a journalist named Joe Scarborough who hangs his hat on a show called Morning Joe on MSNBC. If you were to look up unadulterated trash in the dictionary, you would find this guy with a shit-eatin’ grin. Yes, I have strong opinions and write about them. In my opinion, this piece of journalistic garbage should be thrown to the curb.

My guess is that he was voted most likely to spray-paint the teacher’s dog in high school. He comes off as a self-righteous liberal Democrat who is right in all things. Trouble is, this delusional show host is an asshat.

This man is the antithesis of high-quality journalism. He sprouts leftist ideology, and then other guests chime in to say how bright he is and how right he is, and then they offer glowing accolades to his brilliance. He seeks to belittle members of Congress he doesn’t agree with. I find him to be a vile human being. Were I in high school with him on the lower east side of New York, I would have taken him behind the schoolyard and beaten the snot out of him.

In America, we are all free to believe as we wish. I can believe the moon is made of green cheese, I can believe that Elvis served me a cheeseburger at Wendy’s or that Joe Scarborough is a blithering idiot. No harm, no foul. It’s simply my opinion. You are free to draw your own conclusions.

Recently, he referred to the Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) as Mikey and Little Mike. He sprouted all sorts of derogatory language about the Speaker’s faith and how he is President Trump’s lap dog.

Speaker Johnson has two decades of previous experience in Constitutional law, having previously served on the House Judiciary Committee and as Chairman of its Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government. Scarborough is not capable of showing respect for a Christian father and attorney who is attempting to reverse the disastrous decisions of the Biden Administration at our southern border. This is beyond mind-numbing. His show should come with a disclaimer that reads as follows: Poisonous Content: Watch at Your Own Risk.

Political Theater and Non-Essential Government Workers

Political Theater and Non-Essential Government Workers

I’ve lost count of how many times the government has shut down due to budget impasses. You know the drill—non-essential works are told to stay home and wait for further instructions. So that begs the question: Who is non-essential?

Let me take a stab at it. I may be off base, but I venture that the gift shop folks at the Smithsonian; the ticket folks at the National Zoo; the workers at the national parks; job recruiters at the Post Office; and all the people at the IRS, the Department of Agriculture, and the entire HR apparatus of the federal government might fall into this category.

Perhaps these job descriptions should come with a disclaimer: ATTENTION – you are now applying for a non-essential job – no hard feelings.

But those in Congress and the White House, the folks who created the mess in the first place, are deemed essential. Well, essential to whom? Surely not to me. And remember, even a rookie congresswoman who is 89 percent useless (AOC comes to mind) receives a minimum salary of

$174,500. Does that salary make her useful? Does it make her essential? Not in my mind.

If memory serves me, the first government shutdown was in November 1981 when Ronald Reagan vetoed a spending bill and DC shut down for a couple of days. No calamity, no threat to democracy, no financial ruin—none, nada, zip.

It was the same in the fall of 1982, October 1984, 1990, 2013, 2018, and on and on and on. They were all mostly political theater and gamesmanship. The Senate and House octogenarians are wheeled out to the podium to spread their gospel of “we must come to an agreement or else.”

Huh? Or else what? Or else we shut down again and tell the gift shop workers they don’t matter and to stay home until we call them? Much ado about nothing. But here is my take. Why not pay the non-essentials and dock the pay of members of Congress and the Executive Branch? They shut down the government AND don’t get paid. Seems fair to me.

P.S. Why don’t we furlough Congress?

      This Is a BIG Deal

If I see one more headline about someone named Georgette—formerly George, a non-binary, 260-pound, six-foot-four-inch strapping fella (lady) with high heels, stockings, cocktail dress, mustache, and ruby red lipstick—I’m gonna drive my car off a cliff. When did America deem gender dysphoria a protected minority that must be nurtured and given taxpayer money?

Whether they are in an evening gown or yoga pants that sport a bulge at crotch level, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that George is George, no matter how loud he yells. After all, how many women go to the doctor and get an annual prostate exam? How about checkups for testicular cancer? Not many, I suppose.

      A Stampede of the Ignorant

When was the last time you spoke with a college student who attends one of those liberal schools mentioned in the media? I suspect that what they are learning there is not what their parents think they are learning. Are they prepared to enter the workforce with useful skills? Do they understand at least the minimum amount of finance so they know the difference between a checking account, a CD, a 401(k) plan, and an IRA? Do they understand how to rent an apartment, how to write a resume, or how to set goals? It’s doubtful.

But I bet they know all about harassing and stopping conservative speakers from presenting at the student union. I bet they know how to deface statues of America’s founders. The younger generation appears to be unbelievably ignorant of what is going on in this country. They don’t know a whit about American history, they think socialism is great, and (even more bizarre) they think Biden is doing a tremendous job and plan to vote for him in the November election. One final word—beware! They look rational, having spent (somebody’s) $100,000 on their educations. But like a cute chetah in the zoo, they will rip your arm off and feast on it later.

      Governed by the Delusional

An argument can be made that we have witnessed politically expedient sanctioned violence. Biden has refused to shut down the border while moving illegals to every town and hamlet in the country. Crime rates have soared with illegals attacking police, raping and murdering young women, and tearing all sorts of products off store shelves.

Delusional California is fine with releasing criminals back onto the street as long as the value of items stolen does not cross the made-up $900 threshold. Stores are closing every day—Macy’s, Walgreens, Target, CVS, and more. They can’t make money when everything in sight is being stolen. Dumb as a sock of rocks!

Back to DC. Choose any executive department, and you will find new regulations that screw the country and its economy—regulations created by executive fiat with no accountability.

Untrustworthy is my word for it. Not exactly what the founders intended.

John Adams would turn over in his grave, open his coffin, make his way to the White House, and slap Biden silly.
